Custom Line Navetta for sale with FGI Yacht Group
Custom Line expanded its popular Navetta series this year with a new model: the Navetta 35. Formerly announced at the end of February, the first hull is currently under construction at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona. Now, for potential buyers in the market for a 35-meter semi-displacement yacht that focuses on long-range efficiency and onboard comfort, the Navetta 35 may well be one of the more significant contenders to keep in mind. The 34.5-meter model is designed around the same principles that have defined the Navetta series right from the start: transatlantic capability, Italian craftsmanship, and onboard liveability. Here, we take a closer look at the Navetta 35 and everything she offers.
Custom Line Navetta 35 For Sale
Over the years, Custom Line has built a strong and consistent reputation around its Navetta series as one of the most thoughtfully executed (semi-)displacement superyachts available. For example, the award-winning Navetta 33, the predecessor and soon to be replaced by the Navetta 35, has been one of Custom Line’s most consistent and sought-after models since her debut in 2017, thanks to her cruising capabilities, comfortable interiors, and coherent indoor/outdoor living. Naturally, the Navetta 35 is not here to reinvent that, but offers a more natural evolution of her smaller sister. Larger in size, more contemporary in her design language, and more resolved in the approach to interiors, the Navetta 35 reflects the steady shift in owner expectations since the Navetta 33 was first announced. Take the exterior styling of the Navetta 35 for one, where that progression is clearly visible.
Her elegant exterior lines are the work of architect Filippo Salvetti, whose brief was to refine the Navetta series identity while introducing a more dynamic, sharper, and modern profile. The result is a superyacht with a more defined superstructure geometry, with sculpted hull surfaces that convey a sense of controlled tension, a little nod to the automotive design influences. The new exterior design is matched by a layout that creates a more deliberate relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. Floor-to-ceiling glazing stretches across the main and upper deck salons, while tiered aft decks and expanded outdoor areas reinforce the connection between interior and exterior spaces. Nowhere is this more evident than on the 58-square-metre sundeck, which can be configured as either a lounge or a sky bar, with a forward solarium and an optional spa pool aft framed by large sunpads. The area is designed to feel expansive, but also carefully structured, an outdoor environment designed with as much intention as the interiors themselves.
The interiors of the Navetta 35 continue the same story. Semi-customisable, interior options are by ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, with the Custom Line Atelier supporting owner personalisation throughout the build process. There are two main interior changes that set the Navetta 35 further apart from her predecessor. The first of these is the repositioning of the main staircase to starboard on the main deck, concealing it behind a reflective surface aft of the dining area. By removing the visual interruption of a central stairwell, the main deck opens into a more continuous, naturally lit space that leads towards the owner’s suite. The second is the introduction of fully custom, freestanding furniture designed by Antonio Citterio. Raised from the floor throughout the interior layout, this design option allows for uninterrupted sightlines through the glazing and lets more natural light into the interiors. Together, these result in an environment that feels notably more open, natural, flowing, and architecturally coherent. The three distinct decor schemes available for the Navetta 35 add to this, with each providing a different interpretation of light and contrast. Light Mood pairs ivory, beige, and caramel tones with white-lacquered wood for a soft, welcoming atmosphere, while Contrast Chocolate Mood introduces darker leather, bone-toned lacquers, and stone surfaces to create a more structured aesthetic. Contrast Oyster Mood, on the other hand, takes a quieter approach, combining desaturated woods with tonal fabrics for a restrained and timeless effect.
The general arrangement of the Navetta 35 and technical profile further add to her balance of design and usability. Spanning across three decks, the Navetta 35 has over 300 square metres of combined interior and exterior space, accommodating up to 10 guests across five ensuite staterooms, including a sweeping owner’s suite forward on the main deck and four guest staterooms on the lower deck. A stern garage, discreetly integrated into the lower deck, accommodates a tender of up to five metres alongside a jet ski, maintaining clean exterior lines while preserving practical functionality. Powered by twin MAN V12 engines, she has a top speed of 15 knots, with an impressive range of 1,750 nautical miles at 10 knots. With the first hull already under construction, the Navetta 35 enters the market with a clear point of reference. The commercial success of the Navetta 33 demonstrates the strength of the concept: a superyacht that prioritises space, long- range and a more considered mode of cruising. In that sense, the Navetta 35 is sure to follow in her sister’s path to cruising success.
